You Might Be a Good Fit If:
You recognize time is valuable and want to delegate managing your personal finances so you can focus on your personal and professional life
Are looking for an ongoing, collaborative partner who understands the unique financial challenges and opportunities lawyers face
Have no interest in researching and making financial decisions on your own
Why I Serve Lawyers:
“I don’t understand my finances. Can you help me?” When my wife was in law school, I had a few of her friends ask me to educate them on their personal finances.
I noticed law school teaches young lawyers how to be great lawyers, but not how to manage their finances.
They came to me with questions on repaying their student loans, how to invest, how much insurance is appropriate, and how to save and spend their paychecks.
Many of them wanted to manage their finances, but were overwhelmed by the time demands of their jobs and the complexity of their personal finances.
So I set out to create a financial planning process to provide financial education and 1:1 guidance to ensure they made good financial decisions early in their careers.
Setting a strong financial foundation early then allows them to afford their future personal and professional goals
How I Charge For My Financial Planning Process:
I want everyone to have access to quality financial advice so my fee structure reflects this. For ongoing financial planning, I charge an annual fee of 2% of your income which is paid monthly. There is no asset minimum or income minimum. This fee provides you with year-round financial guidance and planning from a professional who understands the unique financial questions you have as a lawyer.
